INSIDE THE ALBUM: 1980

THE FIRST PAGE: LOTS OF HITTING HIGHLIGHTS.

This 726-card set has a signature rookie (the iconic Rickey Henderson card), a noteworthy second-year card (Ozzie Smith) and the final one of a 500-club home run member (Willie McCovey). It's also a set that has an unusual number of nice A's cards.

  1. In my opinion, this is still the best set that Topps has ever put out in 60 years. I remember collecting it as a kid, and now I'm slowing working to rebuild it. Thanks for the trip down the memories, and making me want to find more cards to rebuild my 1980 set.
